Nicole
Nicole has spent over 20 years helping brands find their voice but before she ran her own agency, she was leading commercial deals at ITV. Negotiating, pitching, selling, and shaping campaigns that reached millions.
Today, Nicole proudly runs Wild Bird Marketing, her strategic marketing agency and now, The Fruit and Veg Man Bedford too. She first met the brand through her work… but fell so hard for the people, the purpose, and community connection, she had to step in.
Fruit and veg wasn’t a pivot it was a pull. The kind of brand you can’t ignore. The kind of work that just feels right. Now, as a multi-business owner, she’s doing what she loves, with people she loves and growing something that’s good from the ground up.
From corporate boardrooms to carrot crates, here’s why it makes sense.
Andy and Nicole didn’t meet through fruit and veg.
They met through a shared passion for helping people sell with confidence, clarity, and heart.
Together, they built Power of Influence, a negotiation, sales and communication training programme for corporate teams, rooted in Andy’s real-world negotiation experience and Nicole’s brand and marketing expertise. Their approach worked. Really well. But something bigger was growing underneath...
They both wanted more purpose. More connection. More real impact. And that’s where The Fruit and Veg Man came in.
Now, they run the Bedford territory together bringing that same mix of energy, empathy, and “let’s get this done” thinking to their local community. Whether it’s a boardroom or a market stall, they believe selling is about trust, stories, and showing up with something people actually need. And this? This is what people need.
Andy
Andy (or Rivsy, as he’s known to most) has lived a few lives; police officer (you may recognise him from behind the desk of 24 hours in police custody!), hostage crisis negotiator, global speaker, mindset coach, and now: Fruit and Veg Man.
After being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour over 20 years ago, Andy chose to face life differently; with purpose, positivity, and a drive to make every day count. He’s gone on to support thousands of people with his story, his coaching, and his no-nonsense approach to resilience.
Now, he’s turned his energy to something local, grounded and real: delivering ridiculously good produce to communities across Bedfordshire. Why? Because he believes in the power of people, fresh food, and doing business with heart. You’ll find him packing boxes, sharing stories, and probably cracking a terrible joke or two on market day.
